Qatar, represented with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, will participate in Kuwait’s national day celebrations with a host of cultural and sports events.
The Qatari participation comes under the supervision and organisation of the Qatar Cultural and Heritage Events Centre and will include many events.
Qatar’s ambassador to Kuwait Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah said that the participation reflects the sense of unity and love the Qatari people have for their Kuwaiti brothers.
Meanwhile, Mohsen al-Marri, who oversees the Qatari section at the Sabah Al Ahmad Heritage Village, praised the efforts of Kuwait in facilitating the Qatari participation in the celebrations.
The indoor activities of the Qatari pavilion include a section for guests to play traditional games, and other folklore-related events. The outdoor activities include poetry and tales with rebab.
