The Center of Empowerment and Elderly Care (Ehsan), of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, organised an introductory field visit for students of the Public Health Department at Qatar University (QU).
The visit came within the framework of co-operation and exchange of experiences with the academic sector in the field of community health education.
The visit aimed at informing the students about the center and the services provided to the elderly and their families.
Furthermore, this visit represented a step at further co-operation between the center and the Public Health Department of the College of Health Sciences at QU.
The center also aims to introduce the college' graduates to the community work sector with the elderly and their families.
Ehsan Center provides health, social and psychological support to elderly people. (QNA)
