The Turkish National Defence Ministry said Saturday that at least 415 PKK/PYD-YPG militants were neutralised during the Operation Peace Spring in northeast Syria.
The Ministry said in a statement carried by Anadolu Agency that the overnight raids in northern Syria were conducted successfully. Land and air assaults were carried out resulting in a total of 415 militants being killed since the operation began.
Turkey launched Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria on Wednesday to secure its borders by eliminating militants there and to ensure the safe return of Syrian refugees and Syria's territorial integrity. (QNA)
