Qatar Airways Group is the first organisation in Qatar and the only airline in the region to adopt the new LinkedIn Talent Solutions Enterprise Programme (TSEP).
The new LinkedIn Talent Solutions Enterprise Programme aims to facilitate effective engagement with candidates and provide users with economic insights and machine-learning algorithms, enabling them to make informed hiring and business decisions.
The new TESP will also give Qatar Airways Group a competitive advantage over other employers as the only regional airline to have this new product, the only company in Qatar and one of only a handful within the MENA region.
Additionally, the programme will enable Qatar Airways to compete more effectively for top talent, positioning the airline as an employer of choice globally.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar al-Baker said, “Behind our five-star service is our hard-working and unique team of talented individuals. As we always seek to be the first and best in what we do, we are delighted to be working with a globally recognised platform like LinkedIn, the world’s largest online professional network, to help us achieve our goals. We are also delighted to be not only the first in Qatar and our industry, but to be one of the handful within the MENA region itself to adopt this innovative programme.”
Head of LinkedIn MENA and EMEA Emerging Markets, Ali Matar, said: “We are proud to be working with one of the leading airlines in the region and to continue to be a partner of choice for the industry. Our collaboration with Qatar Airways Group will enable the airline to use our Talent Solutions products to make even smarter decisions about talent and business. We are confident both parties will draw immense value and inspiration from this collaboration.”
Through this new initiative, Qatar Airways Group continues its strong partnership with LinkedIn, which has more than 630mn users in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
Qatar Airways also won the ‘Best Employer Brand’ and ‘Best Recruiter’ awards in October 2018 at the LinkedIn Talent Awards 2018.
