His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in telephone conversations with a number of leaders of the sisterly Arab and Islamic countries.
His Highness the Amir exchanged greetings on the occasion with the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, King Mohamed VI of Morocco, King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the President of Iraq Dr Barham Salih.
The Amir also exchanged greetings with President Beji Caid Essebsi of Tunisia, President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey and the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani also exchanged cables of congratulations with a number of leaders of Arab and Islamic countries, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received a cable of congratulations on the holy month of Ramadan from HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud.
The Council speaker congratulated the Amir on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, on behalf of the Council members and himself.
HE al-Mahmoud also reiterated their loyalty to the Amir and confirmed their determination to serve the nation and the citizens. He also wished the Amir good health, wellness, and prosperity to Qatar under His Highness the Amir's wise leadership.
The Amir in a cable to the Speaker and the Advisory Council members expressed his thanks for the wishes, congratulating them on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing them health and further progress and prosperity.
Amir to receive well-wishers Monday and Tuesday
The Amiri Diwan announced on Sunday that His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will receive Their Excellencies the Sheikhs, the ministers, the Speaker and the members of the Advisory Council, and the citizen well-wishers on the holy month of Ramadan at Al Wajba Palace Monday and Tuesday, right after Tarawih prayers.
