Doha
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced an eight-month shift of traffic on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor in both directions from south of Al Waab Intersection for 450m from Friday.
The closure has been announced in order to enable the construction of Al Waab Interchange as part of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor.
During the period of the change, road users can make use of an alternative road parallel to the current alignment of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor with two lanes in each direction. The intersection with Snay Bu Hasa Street will be realigned to the east.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and requested all road users to abide by the directed speed limit and follow road signs to ensure their safety.
