Techno Blue, a HBK Group company, and Fujifilm Corporation of Japan have celebrated the opening of their new Digital Imaging service outlet in Doha Festival City.
The “conveniently located Fujifilm Imaging outlet near the food court provides easy and quick access” within the mall, Techno Blue has said in a statement.
The outlet offers customers specialised services such as getting high-quality prints from digital cameras, mobile phones, memory cards etc, printing customised personal albums and a host of other services related to pictures. Also, customers can get their ID pictures taken within a few minutes, in line with the requirements of government departments and embassies.
The ‘Wonder’ photo station at the outlet can receive pictures transmitted through a mobile application and allows customers to collate their memories on fun templates and have them done as prints. The outlet also caters to the requirement of professional photographers by selling a wide range of professional cameras, lenses and accessories.
Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad al-Thani, chairman of Techno Blue, said while inaugurating the outlet that Fujifilm products are synonymous with quality and enjoy a huge following and customer base.
Sheikh Ali bin Hamad al-Thani, vice-chairman of Techno Blue, was also present.
Jun Higuchi, managing director of Fujifilm Middle East, praised the efforts of Techno Blue to grow Fujifilm’s photo imaging and electronic imaging business in Qatar and revealed his plan to support more such stores in the country.
Prabunathan, division manager at Techno Blue, added: “The hottest-selling product at the outlet are the Instax products, which give instant photo prints from the camera. The main customers for this product are the younger generation.”
