Doha Festival City has celebrated its first exclusive Kids Club members’ event with fun-filled activities during a LOL Surprise Party at the mall.
The event was enjoyed by hundreds of children, the mall has said in a press statement.
The celebration took place at the Centre Court recently as the children enjoyed interactive sessions, including colouring, personalisation stations for their LOL dolls, LOL Surprise personal styling sessions and Lol Surprise trade-ins.
Children were able to meet with fellow LOL collectors and either trade in or adopt a LOL character, as well as incorporate their own style with the help of Instagram-personality Bianca Castro and GAP.
Prizes were handed over to the participants for Most Unique LOL, Best Personal Style LOL and raffle draws by Virgin Megastore. Children took home a goodie bag filled with gifts and discount vouchers from Virgin Megastore and GAP. They also enjoyed delicious treats from Eataly restaurant.
May Marzooq, senior marketing manager of Doha Festival City, said: “This was our first Kids Club members’ event and we were delighted to bring together a fun and interactive mini party for all the children to enjoy. Shoppers can still register their kids and use their personalised Kids Club card to get access to all the great deals in our future events.”
With numerous events throughout the year, Kids Club membership will provide them with exclusive access to the mall’s children-based activities and events first-hand, the statement added. Through the membership, children will also be able to purchase much-loved items from retailers offering discounts ranging from 15% to 25%.
