Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman has issued pardon to a group of prison inmates convicted in various cases.
Those who were honoured with the royal pardon amounted to 328 inmates, including 107 foreign inmates, Oman News Agency (ONA) quoted an official source at the Royal Oman Police as saying.
The pardon coincides with the occasion of the Prophet's birthday, 1443 AH.
