Qatar Airways’ loyalty programme, Privilege Club, has announced an exclusive flash offer, enabling members to earn 75% more Qmiles if they buy, gift, or transfer them.
This exclusive offer, which ends at 11.59pm Doha time on August 14, celebrates Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club’s new, multi-year partnership with Points – a loyalty solutions platform and a global leader in powering the loyalty market. From August 15 to September 1, members can also enjoy up to 60% more when they buy, gift, or transfer Qmiles.
The partnership will see Qatar Airways Privilege Club use Points’ platform to deliver its buy, gift, and transfer services in an easier, more convenient method. This offer follows several new enhancements that Qatar Airways Privilege Club has introduced for its members in the recent months, including the newly enhanced Qmiles policy for Qmiles that last longer, removal of award seat fees and generous tier extensions offered in light of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on travel plans.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Simon Talling-Smith, said: “At Qatar Airways, we are leading the industry with the products and services we offer to our passengers. Our Privilege Club members are our most valued customers, so our priority is not only to ensure that they can rely on us to fly them safely and comfortably, but also to offer generous rewards that are relevant to them.
“As we rebuild our network to over 80 destinations and the world starts to open up again, we hope that our members will enjoy our flash offer – available over the next two days – to earn 75% more Qmiles when they buy, gift or transfer. With newly resumed destinations, including the Maldives, Zanzibar, and Lisbon, it is the perfect time for our members to take advantage of their Qmiles for a well-deserved holiday.”
Members who take advantage of the first flash offer for 75% more Qmiles will be able to earn 24,000 more Qmiles when they buy, gift or transfer 32,000 Qmiles— good for a return Economy class ticket to Istanbul or a one way Business class ticket to the Maldives.
Privilege Club has recently redefined its Qmiles policy to further honour members’ loyalty with Qmiles that are valid for further 36 months when a member earns or spends Qmiles. This enhancement is among the initial steps in Privilege Club’s journey of change in exceeding expectations from the airline passengers can always rely on.
Qatar Airways continues to work closely with governments around the world to resume commercial flights in line with entry restrictions. Qatar Airways now serves over 80 destinations worldwide, and plans to resume more flights over the summer.
Privilege Club offers four membership tiers – Burgundy, Silver, Gold and Platinum -- each with their own exclusive benefits for members to enjoy. Qmiles are earned when members travel on Qatar Airways, oneworld airlines, other airline partners or use the services of any of the airline’s 60+ global partners. Qmiles are awarded based on the booking class purchased, and can be redeemed for a range of exciting benefits and rewards including award flights, upgrades or extra baggage on Qatar Airways. Privilege Club launched in 2000 as a form of appreciation to Qatar Airways’ loyal passengers, offering them the opportunity to earn Qmiles when travelling on Qatar Airways, oneworld airlines, or any of the airlines’ partners. Qmiles has since served as another convenient means of payment at the award-winning Qatar Duty Free outlets, located in both the departure and arrival halls of Hamad International Airport, and at Oryx Galleria in Doha.
For the safety and as a precautionary measure taken by Qatar to limit the spread of Covid-19, members are encouraged to download and use the Qatar Airways mobile app for any Privilege Club-related queries. The app provides members with a convenient and safe way to access their membership account on the go. For more information, members can call the dedicated Privilege Club hotline on +974 4023 0023.
